Introducing:
Evan Russell Fossé
Born on Thursday October 7th at 4:36pm
Weighing in at 9lb 4oz and measuring 22in long
He is a big, sweet, content boy. He is very loved and adored by his big sisters and parents, grandparents, Aunties, Uncles, cousins, etc. When Jessie met him, she kept commenting on how each of his features were so tiny. Anna just kept saying “he is so cute!” they both love to hold him and love on him.
Pregnancy went very well. Labor was a longer process than I would have liked but it was worth every minute to hold that sweet boy in my arms.
Evan was due on Saturday October 2nd and starting the day before I had occasional bouts of back ache and false labor but nothing significant until Wednesday night around 8:30pm. Then I had back labor and contractions consistently at 8-10min apart all night and into the next day (15 hours). This was supper discouraging and frustrating, but then suddenly active labor kicked in at 2:30pm, Midwife arrived at 3:30pm, and Evan was born at 4:36pm. It was an at home water birth and we loved being in the comfort of our own home for the whole process.
